Welcome to West Side Self Tapes!
My name is Logan and I have been a professional actor since I was 16. At this point, between my own auditions and those I’ve helped friends with, I’ve taped well over 400 times. With over a decade of experience and hundreds of tapes under my belt, I realized that I have the knowledge and tools to help others crush their self tapes, and it brings me great joy to be able to provide this service to other actors. I’ve booked from and been complemented on the quality of my self tapes, and have had the same for friends who I’ve taped as well. I also offer coaching for those looking for a bit of extra help working with the material. Weird stage directions that make the audition complicated? I’m used to handling that too! I look forward to helping you send in a tape you can be proud of.
Excellent Picture and Sound Quality
The modern Iphone is a miracle, and the cameras just keep getting better and better. Not sure about using an iphone for taping? I’ve been doing it for 6 years now, and they just shot the film "28 Years Later” entirely on an Iphone!
Fast Turn Around
As the quality of the videos is already great, your takes just need to be selected and trimmed. We can do this together (as long as time allows) or I can pick for you. I will trim the selects and WeTransfer them to you within the day! If the casting director prefers all takes as one clip, I can send it to you in that format as well.
Optional Coaching Available
I’ve been training as an actor, with some incredible teachers, since I was 16. I’ve gotten to work with some incredible actors as well- Elizabeth Olsen, Francesca Eastwood, Clifton Collins Jr., to name a few. I’m a SAG-AFTRA member and have worked professionally for over a decade. I’ve coached and been coached numerous times, and have had more than a few people book after I coached them for their audition. It’s West Side Self Tapes for a reason! I’m located on the Marina Del Rey/ Venice line. Conveniently accessible via the 90 freeway or surface streets, it’s easy to get here. I’m also 15 minutes from LAX if you’re here for a quick stop. I have plenty of guest parking as well, so no need to worry about a meter or a parking ticket!
PRICING
1 Hour Self Tape - $60
30 Minute Self Tape - $35 (Chalk it up to years of experience- the vast majority of tapes, and picking your takes, take longer than 30 minutes and rushing usually doesn’t help a performance! If it’s a commercial audition, a few line co-star, or you can show up ready to hit the ground running, we can typically make it happen. If you aren’t sure, please be on the safe side and book an hour)
1 Hour Self Tape + Coaching - $85
Coaching/Reading Available via Zoom/Facetime as well. Please mention in the contact form for my rates.
Have Set Up, Will Travel (I know some people need extra accommodation. With multi-day advance notice, it is possible for me to come tape you for your audition at your home with my set up. Please mention in the contact form for my rates.)
How It Works
Shoot me a contact request with the form below. If there is availability, I will shoot you a Calendly link to book your preferred time. To confirm your booking, a Zelle payment must be sent within 24hrs of booking on Calendly. Zelle info will be in the Calendly link. Show up ready to go at your preferred time, we knock your tape out of the park, we select your takes, I send to you within the day, and you get to feel confident when you hit “submit”!
